Childrens Rights 25th Anniversary

Thursday 20th November 2014 was the 25th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child. It was a day where all the school became focused about leaning about their rights and what these rights mean to them.

To mark this anniversary day we all came together for a special assembly with Mrs Steele. In the afternoon the children took part in a carousel of activities. The activities included poster making, bunting making, letter writing to Mr Timpson the Children and Families Minister, puzzle making and biscuit decorating using the rights respecting logo on edible sugar wafers.
