We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Year 6 teacher to work in our school to support teaching across our year group and also offer booster and interventions to targeted children. This role would be idea for an experienced teacher who has knowledge of SATs, intervention and booster classes.

The successful candidate must have the ability to play a key role in planning, assessment and delivery of lessons. It is essential that the successful candidate can build positive and lasting relationships with both staff and children.

The role includes:

  • Delivering lessons in reading, writing and maths to small groups of children
  • Making effective use of assessment to plan lessons and check progress
  • Working with the class teachers and providing feedback
  • Covering whole classes when the need arises
