We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Year 6 teacher to work in our school to support teaching across our year group and also offer booster and interventions to targeted children. This role would be idea for an experienced teacher who has knowledge of SATs, intervention and booster classes.
The successful candidate must have the ability to play a key role in planning, assessment and delivery of lessons. It is essential that the successful candidate can build positive and lasting relationships with both staff and children.

The role is offered on a part-time basis, with the school willing to discuss and agree a timetable of lessons which perfectly suits the pupils needs but also those of the successful candidate.
The school is willing to offer the role on a full-time basis for the right candidate who would be able to successfully improve the outcomes of our pupils in a short space of time.
The role includes:
- Delivering lessons in reading, writing and maths to small groups of children
- Making effective use of assessment to plan lessons and check progress
- Working with the class teachers and providing feedback
- Covering whole classes when the need arises
