Changing the way you order Hot School Meal

We are changing the way you order your child’s Hot School Meals. Instead of completing a paper form and handing it in to the office you will now need to order your child’s choices online via #/. A guide provided by Chartwells went home on Monday 25th or you can pick one up from the main office.

The first time that you place an order online you will need to register first then wait for free school meals to be authorised before you can make your meal choices.

The deadline for placing orders will be midnight on Sunday, 7 days before the week in which the meal is required. Please place orders by midnight on Sunday 14 February for meals on Monday 22 February. So, EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED A FORM AND GIVEN IT IN TO SCHOOL, YOU WILL NEED TO ORDER ONLINE FOR WEEK BEGINNING MONDAY 22 FEBRUARY ONWARDS.

If you do not make an online order for your meals starting after Half Term (even if you have already completed a form and given it to school) NO MEAL WILL BE ORDERED FOR YOUR CHILD and a packed lunch will need to be provided.

For those of you who would like some assistance in registering for online ordering, a representative from Chartwells will be available on Thursday 4 February from 8.20am until 8.40am – please come into school via the Reading Room.

This new system will make ordering your child’s meals simpler and more flexible; if you like, you can order in a block, or a week at a time and even change choices as long as the Sunday deadline, 7 days before the meal is required, is observed.
