School Closure Learning
Current Partial Re-Opening Offer:
The Livingstone Road Primary Federation is currently able to offer the following provision:
• Continuing Key Worker & Vulnerable provision in 3 bubbles of no more than 12 pupils per bubble, accommodated at the Junior School
• Continuing support for Home Learning – new packs available online and printed every week.
• EYFS provision in 7 bubbles of no more than 10 pupils per bubble, accommodated at the Infant School
• Year 1 limited spaces available in 3 bubbles of no more than 9 pupils per bubble, accommodated at the Infant School
• Year 6 provision in 3 bubbles of no more than 12 pupils per bubble, accommodated at the Junior School
Unfortunately, following a thorough risk assessment, we are not able to safely accommodate all Year 1 pupils at this time. Spaces were primarily offered to our disadvantaged, ‘emerging’ pupils.
Each bubble will now stay the same until the new academic year - September 2020. They will work with the same members of staff and movement around the school and across site will be restricted. Contact with other bubble groups will be limited as much as possible.
Due to the need to deep clean the schools, the schools will be closed on Friday afternoons to all students.
As the Coronavirus situation is complex and rapidly changing, we do not know if or when the schools may close either fully or partially. The greatest concern about the current situation for both parents and the school is that our children will lose important learning time. With that in mind, below are links for home learning packs and a list of activities for each year group. These are for the children to use as and when the school closes; they are not general homework packs. Please also read the attached letter for guidance regarding the level of work within the packs.
